Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This policy explains what information My Vacation Discover (“we,” “us”) collects when you use our sites or reserve a stay with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers myvacationdiscover.com and explore.myvacationdiscover.com, where reservations are taken and payment details are entered. By using either site or reserving with us, you agree to this policy.

2. Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you reserve, request information, or contact us, we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, and the information needed to process and confirm your reservation. Payment card details are entered directly into our payment processor’s secure checkout and are handled by them, not stored by us.
• Messages you send us. If you contact us by email, phone, or social media direct message, we keep those communications so we can help you.
• Information collected automatically. When you visit our site, we may collect standard technical information such as your device type, browser, and pages viewed, through cookies and similar technologies (see section 4).

3. How we use your information

We use your information to: process and confirm your reservation; arrange your stay, travel dates, and airport pickup; arrange any upgrade you have bought; contact you about your reservation and provide support; verify eligibility for the sponsored rate; improve our website and services; and, where permitted, send you offers and updates (you can opt out at any time).

4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, understand how visitors use it, and measure and improve our advertising. Specifically:

• Google Analytics (GA4) — helps us understand how visitors find and use our site, through cookies that collect usage data in aggregate.
• Meta Pixel — provided by Meta (Facebook and Instagram); it measures how our ads perform and helps us show relevant ads to people who have visited our site.

These services may set their own cookies and receive data as described in their own privacy policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some may affect how the site works.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our service, with: our payment processor (to charge and confirm your reservation); the resort, cruise line, and our fulfillment team (to arrange and deliver your stay or upgrade); service providers who help us operate the site, communications, and marketing; and where required by law. Providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide your reservation and support, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes, after which we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and you can opt out of marketing messages at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. To make a request, email info@myvacationdiscover.com.

8. Third-party links

Our site links to third-party sites, including the resort’s own website. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; review their policies separately.

9. Children

Our website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 directly from them. Some bookings include children traveling with you. Where that is the case we collect only the details needed to arrange that travel, and we collect them from you, the adult making the booking, not from the child.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date shows when. Material changes will be posted on this page.
